Q. When my credit card will be charged?
A. City Trans will charge your credit card after your trip has been completed. Some vehicles such as stretch limousines for Night out, Award night or New Year eve required a deposit.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. We require2 hour for Sedan, 4 Hrs for Suv & Van and 6 Hrs for Limousine advance notice, otherwise we may charge late-cancellation fee up to 2 Hrs Minimum or full Airport transfer fee.
Q. For what time should I schedule a reservation with City Trans for a pickup from the Airport?
A. We recommend scheduling your reservation time to your flight’s estimated time of arrival.
Q. Will City Trans charges me waiting time if my flight is delayed?
A. No! City Trans will monitor your flight to make sure your driver will be there when the flight arrives.
Q. When does waiting time charge apply for pickup at the Airport?
A. City Trans rarely charges for waiting time at the airport, because most passengers are leaving the airport within 30 minutes. We give passengers on a domestic flight 30 minutes free waiting time from the time the flight lands, and for international flights we give 1 Hr free waiting time from the time the flight lands. After the free waiting time we charge for waiting time in 15-minute increments. Waiting time charge is equal to vehicle hourly rate, for example, luxury sedan hourly rate is $50 so for 15 minutes waiting time the charge is $12.50.
Q. I anticipate I will be delayed going through immigration or clearing customs and I want to avoid paying waiting time; can I schedule my airport pickup reservation with City Trans to be picked up later then flight arrival time?
A. Yes, just select time when booking your airport pickup reservation. Delay pickup designed to provide passengers arriving on international flight with extra time to clear customs and immigration, if you anticipate that you will be delayed going through immigration or clearing customs and you want to avoid paying waiting time; just enter delay pickup time when you book your reservation, for example if you select 30 minutes delay pickup, then your driver will arrive to the Airport 30 minutes after your flight arrives. Your free waiting time will start 30 minutes after your flight arrivals. For none US citizens arriving on international flights with checked luggage, we recommend 15-30 minutes delayed pickup.
Q. Does City Trans provide a baby seat?
A. Yes, requests for baby seat should be submitted to City Trans when booking your reservation. It will cost about $20.00 for baby seat. However if you like to use your own baby seat you can bring it with you to the airport and we will keep it with us until you return and driver will bring the baby seat back, but it will still cost $20.00 each way.
Q. How will we recognize our chauffeur at the airport?
A. Chauffeur will meet you in Baggage Claim holding a sign displaying your last name .International Flights: Chauffeur will meet you outside of Customs holding a sign displaying your last name. : If You Cannot Locate Your Chauffeur For Any Reason, Do Not Leave As You Will Be Charged As A No-Show. Please Call Us Immediately And We Will Assist You To Locate Your Chauffeur
