Steve Alfonso operates a limousine business from his home and said the robber came asking questions about a limousine ride. He said before he knew it, the robber took off with his wallet and the keys to his Limousine.
"I was watching a movie. I wasn't expecting any problem from anybody," Alfonso said.
He said the man knocked on his door approximately midnight, asked him how much a limo ride would cost to go to Portland, and the next thing Alfonso knew he was on the ground.
"I wasn't expecting it. He turned around and punch me, and I saw stars and landed on my ass next to my drum set," Alfonso said.
He said the man asked him for money and then grabbed him by the neck, choking him as he carried Alfonso to his room.
"I said, 'One thing I have is my wallet. It's in the bedroom,'" Alfonso said.
He said he blacked out for a second, and when he awoke, the man was gone.
His Corvette was down the street. He said he's lived at the same home for the last 15 years and has never had any problems. He said he isn't sure why he was targeted, but he just wants the guy who did in prison. "I guess he wanted some dope or money or something. I don't know," Alfonso said.
Longview police quickly showed up and found the Corvette limo a few blocks away, but the robber was gone.
Longview police continue to examine this robbery but have no suspects. Police are still looking for the man who punched a limo driver in the face and robbed him after midnight Friday. Police said the robber came to the man's house Thursday night, asked him about limo rides and then punched him, kicked him and robbed him.
